Trying to figure outin which part of San Diego I want to book a hotel.Is Gaslamp Qarter a god area to be in? Downtown - Harbor Island? Another area?

depends on what you are going to do. there are some really nice hotels near the airport that have a view of the bay. (actually they are on the bay)
